The Ultimate Crossover Roleplay, also known as the ETQAY saga, is a roleplay exploring the concept of what happens when fictional worlds become a part of the real world, and what they do with the knowledge of their canon, as described by the real world..

It's also a battle between Light and Dark!

Canon

Canon.. the very driving force of the roleplay. Without this, none of the events of the roleplay would be possible.

You see, canon is what describes the fictional worlds, and it will always try to make sure that it is adhered to. If you notice, all the characters act like their canon selves. And events tend to happen the way canon says they happen in. Normally, this would just be trivial knowledge, but the twist here is that characters can look up their own canon. In fact, about half the roleplay is basically just that, and a big theme explored here is the effects that knowledge of one's own canon can bring.

”Try” is important, though. If choices are make to alter the events, to the point where the canon events become implausible to happen afterwards, this creates something called “dissonance”. Dissonance is a measure of just how hard it would be for the events that happened to match the actual canon-The more blatant and inexcusable the contradiction, the more dissonance is created. It’s known that things will get extremely bad if the dissonance gets too high, but the exact consequences of this are still unknown. Dissonance can also get destroyed if a feasible mechanism for canon happening anyway presents itself. (One could say “dissonance” means “canon incompatibility”.) Nobody except the Mysterious Agents, and presumably Odrex knows precisely how it functions, but Odrex has explained how important not defying what was “written into fate” really is (although anything not explicitly in there is up for grabs. Choice still exists, even if there are limits.) (If you played the Stanley Parable, you can compare the concept of dissonance to “narrative contradiction”.) Plus, after Across the Spider-Verse came out, some of the cast got a better idea of what it is, and it’s hinted the consequences of dissonance getting too high is something close to the corruption and destruction of the entire universe the dissonance happened in.

Timelines

When someone LOADs a SAVE, they actually create a new timeline and send everyone over to the new timeline.. the old timeline still exists where there was no LOAD. Similar things are probably the case for other kinds of time travel.

Clones (Star Wars Canon)

In Star Wars, it's not really explained much what the limits of making clones are. However, in here, each Trooper can only be cloned twice, else there's not enough atoms to recover them, and the original dies.. They could multiply by cloning clones.. But there is corruption each time cloning is done, making each generation more corrupted than the previous. However, this corruption is completely meaningless.. until it's been done more than 15 times.. Which is why they couldn't clone infinitely.

The Mysterious Force

We know something is responsible for bringing these fictional worlds to World Prime.. what is it?

While we don't know what it is, we do know a few properties it has.

  • The Mysterious Force only knows what we know:Unpublished canon is not taken into account.
  • The Mysterious Force adds franchises one at a time-Though it has sped up over time.
  • When a franchise is added, all elements of it are, and that universe's laws of physics becomes intertwined with that of World Prime.

What that last one means is that if we see one character or one item of a canon, we can be sure that the entire canon now exists, and what is possible in that canon becomes possible in World Prime as well. So, if Spock from Star Trek ended up here, now the entirety of Star Trek happened, and Warp Drives become possible. Because of the vast number of canons that have already shown up, it's best to know your canon. Many things in the roleplay aren't explained here, because they're actually exactly like they are in canon-For instance, Determination is just.. determination from Undertale. Things that aren't strictly canon things in the franchises we're crossing over, however, will be explained here.

World Prime

..Right, should have mentioned this earlier. You see, World Prime is the name of this world. Because in this roleplay, many different worlds exist. The actual structure of the multiverse isn't clearly defined: It depends on what methods you use to travel across it. If you travel using Surreal Memes methods, then the multiverse looks like the Surreal Memes canon establishes it to be. If you travel using Kingdom Hearts methods, the multiverse looks like the Kingdom Hearts canon establishes it to be. (Not that Kingdom Hearts has even been added to the crossover yet. It hasn't.) We're not really sure why this is, probably another effect of the Mysterious Force.

The Books of Prophecy, Chosen Ones, and The Challenge

There exist three prophetic books. One of Light, one of Darkness, and one of Twilight. Each predict that sometime after the burning of Fazbear Frights in 2023, two chosen ones will take a certain challenge-Two books will lay, both claiming to tell the true story of the FNAF universe.. but one of them will be incorrect. Both will look like plausible interpretations of the canon.. but as we all know, there is only one story.

Both the Prophecies of Light and Darkness are further split into "books", which were likely complied INTO the Prophecy of Light and Prophecy of Darkness. The Prophecy of Light and the Prophecy of Twilight predict that ONE of the chosen two will be of Light and ONE will be of Darkness. One will guess correctly, the other incorrectly. All of them agree that if the correct book is chosen, great power will come to the guesser (Prophecy of Twilight states it's Enlightenment..), and if the incorrect book is chosen, something really bad will happen (Prophecy of Twilight states it's getting wiped from existence.)

The Prophecy of Light predicts the good ending of FNAF3, and that the Chosen of Light will be the one to guess correctly. The Prophecy of Darkness predicts the bad ending of FNAF3, and that BOTH chosen ones will be of darkness.. and they'll both guess correctly, ruling the world together.. It is possible, but very unlikely, that both are correct-That is, there will be two pairs of chosen ones, and the Challenge will happen twice.

The Prophecy of Twilight is an odd one out-It isn't like the other ones, which are a complication of possibly ancient books, but a more modern book, made by an unknown author, that acts as a whole. It doesn't even just make predicts, but attempts to tell the entire story of Light and Dark. It even holds a few secrets about the keys..

All three of these books are currently with the Dark Side, though Scott knew of the existence of the Light and Dark prophecies, and likely read them as well (We know for a FACT he read the Prophecy of Light, since he based FNAF3 off of it)

The Prophecy of Darkness was ruled out from being correct when the Chosen One of the Light was successful. The Good Ending of FNAF3 also happened.

Time Dilation

Sometimes, more time passes than it should have took for a certain series of actions to occur. For instance, something that should have only taken a few hours ends up taking a few days. This is an effect of time mysteriously being warped by... something. We're not sure what.

The Keys of Reality

The Keys of Reality are five symbolic "keys", then when put together in the right way, will reveal something fundamental about reality itself.

These are not physical keys, but anomalies, that all work together to point towards the conclusion. Some keys may need to be used more than once. It's very likely that the conclusion is the very secret Morpheus wishes to tell Light and Dark about.

We do know some information about the keys, though the characters do not know all of this. However, the Dark Side has a book that gives them some knowledge about the keys.

  • Key 1-Strangely, Save/Load/Reset can sometimes happen completely on its own, without anyone actually using this ability.
  • Key 2-This key can be found surrounding the event horizon of a black hole, near intelligent life.
  • Key 3-This key requires one to visit the quantum realm.
  • Key 4-Something about "canon". The fact that when Ian made a surreal meme, The Enneacontahedron of Elements appeared is a hint towards this.
  • Key 5-We know nothing about this key.
