Info on the Ultimate Crossover Roleplay:Characters

Here's where I outline the information there is to know about some of the many Characters in the ETQAY saga! (Also known as the Ultimate Crossover Roleplay!)

There is also a thread about the timeline of the roleplay, and yet another about the items and mechanics that are used within the roleplay.

So, let's begin, shall we?

Scott Cawthon

Scott Cawthon is the creator of the FNAF series. He is likely the main protagonist of the roleplay.. If there even is a protagonist, that is. He and the animatronics used to work together for the FNAF games, with Scott even designing the Nightmare Initiative to help with FNAF4, but not long afterwards, they turned against him. We still do not know precisely why, but Springtrap had turned the Nightmare Initiative into the Nightmarification Process, turning the rest of the animatronics evil! This means Scott now has to oppose the very animatronics he worked with! (Or find some way to free them.)

Being the creator of the FNAF series, he often trolls people-His fans, and the evil side he's fighting against!

Even Scott doesn't know how the animatronics came to life in the real world.. Nor why he can't just delete them (he used to be able to!)

Springtrap/Purple Guy

The main villain of FNAF, a killer he is!

He is the one responsible for corrupting the Nightmare Initiative, which also made the robots once again allowed to roam during the day. He's not above using mind control, joining the Dark Side of the Force, and, of course, killing more people. As such, he is the leader of the Nightmares. However, it has slowly been revealed that although Springtrap is evil, he wasn't always this way, and it may even be possible to save him.

The Puppet

The Puppet is the one who gave new life to the animatronics. The Puppet is just as good as Springtrap is evil. For a long time, he resisted against Springtrap, before finally falling prey to his mind games. (He was the last animatronic to get corrupted, and it wasn't through mind control, but diplomacy!) However, with W. D. Gaster's help, he has finally been freed! ..But this time, he's pretending to still be on the Dark Side, to act as a mole for the good guys. He's actually still in Nightmare form, so nobody knows he's good yet except for the Light Side. The Puppet hasn't been able to give them any information yet, but...

Timmy

Timmy is Springtrap's younger son.

He was first taken care of by the Nightmares.. Then joined the Dark Side and learned to use the force. However, he was soon forgotten about, until Agatha rescued him and brought him to the Light Side.

• Springtrap also has a different son, named "Michael", who may or may not be the "Eggs Benedict" in the roleplay.
  

Phantom Bonnie

Phantom Bonnie is a strange one. He was planned to be one of the six animatronics to be in FNAF3... But he didn't make it to Fazbear Fright on time, because he had somehow wandered into Waste Management, and didn't know he could teleport. (And he thought they were supposed to meet at Scott's house) This lead to him being hastily replaced with Phantom Mangle in FNAF3 (this is why P. Mangle has no Extras section) 

He did eventually find the other animatronics, and is a Nightmare.. With a powerful White Lantern Ring, and Determination equal to Frisk.. but he still goofs up from time to time.

The Other Nightmares

Of course, there are still other Nightmares.. N. Foxy, the most charismatic (besides Springtrap), N. Chica, a smart analyst.. sometimes. (She sometimes goofs up hilariously by missing one obvious detail), N. Bonnie, another sometimes goofy animatronic, and N. Freddy, who tends to lead the other three. (And conducts analysis himself!) There's N. BB, who loves batteries a lot, and can often be annoying... There's Lolbit, someone who can hack almost anything.. but only for a short time, N. Frostbear, who has ice magic, Areonaut Freddy, who can improve anything, C. Ballora, who can control mechanical devices, and also..

Psychic Friend Fredbear

He's here, he's there, he's every-where!

..Okay, he can teleport, can talk, is also very high up the Charisma List.. And on the Nightmare side. Speaking of which..

Nightmare

Nightmare was once the most threatening of all the Nightmares.. But he really doesn't have much character depth besides "he's an evil Nightmare". Oh, and his crush on Lolbit. Maybe we can change that soon?

The Mysterious Nightmare

Ah.. Here's someone with depth!

..Well, not really. We know he was found in the first of the fake FNAF4 boxes, and he has an astronomically high amount of EXP. And that he's the most evil and possibly most powerful of all the Nightmares.

Second William Afton

This William Afton was originally created by Scott after the first Springtrap went berserk. He was programmed to never break character, such that canon may never be broken again, as he didn't want a Springtrap that would break the canon story he established. However, he didn't specify which Springtrap, and his intention of the games' Springtrap confused the world, so it readjusted this Springtrap to instead never break character from book Springtrap.

The Adventures

After FNAF World was released, the animatronics from FNAF World came to be inside of a world simulated by Scott. It is possible to travel in and out of the simulated world, though the Adventures tend to hang out in their sanctuary most of the time. 

All the adventures are on the Light Side.. except maybe Lolbit, who was convinced to help the Dark Side out.. but only with items. And even Lolbit doesn't want Scott to DIE.. (Though it's likely some Dark Siders also do not wish to kill Scott.)

Herobrine

Herobrine, the Ghost of Minecraft..

He's evil. But he's not on the Dark Side, either, he's currently still in Minecraft. He has been encountered several times, though. Just like in the legends, he has his Blaze Rod that can shoot out lightning, and the ability to teleport wherever he wants to..

Except his Blaze Rod was stolen. By Phantom Bonnie of all people.

Frisk Dreemurr

Frisk is the protagonist of Undertale, that ended up in the crossover roleplay through a strange machine, that Sans knows about.. They once attempted a Genocide Route, but gave up at Doggo, and is now a pacifistic kid.

Chara Dreemurr

Chara is the narrator of Undertale, which makes them Frisk's narrator. At some point in time, Chara disappeared for some reason.. And awakened in the Death Star, because of the Mysterious Nightmare gaining a massive amount of EXP. At this point, they were pure evil, who only wished to gain more and more EXP, and joined the Nightmares' side. However, the Care Bears were able to remove the corruption, and the rest of the Undertale cast helped bring Chara back on the side of good.

The Annoying Dog

Bark! Bark! *sleeps*

..He's a dog. But do not underestimate the dog. The dog can do the impossible, like phase through walls! ..Don't try to predict him, you don't know what he'll-HEY! MY ARTIFACT!

W. D. Gaster

W. D. Gaster is the scientist who built the CORE. But his life was cut short, and he fell into his own creation. However, the Light Side helped him return, and he is now helping the Light side. His immense knowledge of all different kind of science makes him an irreplaceable member of the Light Side.

But that doesn't mean he doesn't have any rivals..

Malum

Malum is an Immortal, according to the BECMI version of Dungeons and Dragons. He is in fact in the lowest rank of Immortal, mainly as punishment for interfering with the Prime Plane. (Which just so happens to also be World Prime. Who would've guessed?) He usually resides in the Etheral Plane, with a collection of artifact from all kinds of different worlds. He's searched for the Scronching Blade and the Octahedron of Transcendence. He joined the Nightmares after being put under Shackles of Servitude. Even still, we know he was evil even before then, which is where he got his name from. We also know that Malum isn't truly on the Nightmares side-He plans on being the Absolute God of Reality himself, unleashing the Vegetal.. Betraying the Nightmares when the time arrives. (Looks like the Shackles aren't as powerful as the Nightmares thought! Or maybe they underestimated the power of an Immortal!)

Agatha

Agatha first appeared slightly before Darth Vader's arrival. She is currently on the Light Side, and has been known to beat people with picnic boxes a lot. (Probably because she has to put up with a lot of insanity.. Just look at the people she talks to in the roleplay..) She is the one that discovered a book of Lost Prophecies.. That turned out to be a troll. 

She eventually vanished for a while, but returned, having brought Timmy back to the Light Side. 

• Agatha is probably based on Agitha from the Legend of Zelda, given the similar names, and Ablite stating that "Agatha" is from Zelda. However, because of the misspelling, Agatha is not the same as Agitha, much like Edgar is not Egbert. 
  
• This means it's not just original characters that get "cloned" through misspellings.
  

Darth Vader

Darth Vader is the current ruler of the Empire, and thus the Dark Side, after the death of the Emperor in The Return of the Jedi. Why he is back and still evil, despite being reformed at the end of The Last Jedi, we still do not know... 

Midna

We don't really know much about her.. She's probably the one from Zelda? I think she was forgotten after not much time. She claimed to have the ultimate power from the Challenge, (That would be Enlightenment, so she was probably lying), and while seeming to serve the Dark Side, also stole the plans from the Dark Side just before they could get the plans back from the Rebels (though they did manage to swipe them back from her.)

Morpheus

Morpheus, from the Matrix, has appeared to both the Light and Dark Sides. It seems there is a secret to the world.. one that Morpheus wants to be found, and is guiding them towards. What is this secret? None knows...

Ian

Okay, I don't know much about Ian.. he has the Octahedron of Transendance? He can travel between dimensions?

Glitchtrap

Isn't time travel weird?

King Sombra

Ruler of the Crystal Empire before his defeat by the Elements of Harmony, King Sombra returns. So far, he seems to side with Malum, and is more interested in ruling alone than actually working with the Dark Side-Whenever he DOES work with them, he always insists on being the one in charge.

Fortunately for him, the Elements haven't shown up yet. Perhaps the Elements were destroyed?

Henry Stickmin (TK?)

Henry Stickmin is a high-ranking officer in the Toppat Clan. Often, items will randomly appear that he can use to complete his goals. If he fails a goal, he can go back to before he failed, and this happens at a greater level than Determination SAVE/LOAD files. N. Foxy is currently trying to recruit him... but will probably fail.

Henry Stickmin (TT)

Henry Stickmin is a former thief, who eventually turned good and started working to take down criminal gangs like the Toppat Clan. Him, Ellie, and Charles together make an effective team at doing that! He has the same abilities as the other Henry. What happens if the two Henrys have conflicting goals? Well, their abilities glitch each other out. This had to be fixed by the CCC, and in an unconvential way, as Ellias, the CCC agent assigned to fix the problem, had her Stickman-style choice ALSO be glitched, preventing her from choosing a button to press!

The Mysterious Agents

Three people from a place unknown. Their job appears to be keeping.. something.. stable, and preventing reality from glitching. There are also hints they want to “disentangle” something, Could they be trying to undo the effects of the Mysterious Force, separating the canons once again? What even is a “canon world” anyway, and why is such a world real in the first place, when it was created as a fictional work? These people and the things they study are a mystery, hence the unofficial name. In fact, when they appear, much of what they say is redacted!

Since their goal is to keep.. some grand universal thing stable, they must disguise themselves as something compatible with it, and only do things that are actually possible for such an entity to perform, lest they further break the stability of what they are protecting. These three have opted to make their disguises Storm Troopers, as the Death Star was a major point of interest, and only Storm Troopers and specific characters can walk around there without causing major suspicion. This may also be the reason for the redactions, though this has yet to be confirmed (and they’d rather it not be confirmed if it’s correct. You can probably see why.)

Precisely what is being redacted is currently unknown, but keep in mind much these redactions happen around the same time “narrative phenomenon” is mentioned, Perhaps over on the Theorization Board, you can try to figure out what exactly is going on behind the scenes...

Does that Ellie mean that we'll be going off of one of the endings where Henry works with Ellie?

..And that Henry didn't actually side with the Top Hats in Infiltrating the Airship? (I think there's an ending where he does..)

One thing we know about canon is that the Legal/Lame Ending never happened, because Infiltrating the Airship confirms Henry broke out of prison as one of the charges.

It's supposed to be my signature. If we want Henry & Ellie to join the Dark Side we should go by the Toppat King ending. If we want them on the Light Side, we sould use the Triple Threat ending.

Oh, I see. So we haven't decided which ending is canon yet. Alright, then. We'll figure it out soon..

Do we even know if Ellie's going to be a part of it at all? Or is Ellie definitely joining? And is it possible we'll have Ellie and Henry on opposite sides?

I'd prefer if Henry & Ellie are on the same side, but there is the Toppat Civil Warfare ending in which Ellie gets revenge on Henry for leaving her at the Wall. In that ending, the previous Toppat Clan leader, Reginald Copperbottom, overthrows Henry & makes Ellie the leader.

I'm aware of the ending where Ellie and Henry are on opposite sides.. that's why I was asking if we were going to make them on the same side or not.

There's sixteen possible endings, and I'm trying to see which ones we should just eliminate right away.

And since we want Ellie and Henry on the same side, that already brings us down to five possible endings.. (this only happens in the Convict Allies set of endings.)

EDIT:And now there's a Multiverse Correction ending.. So there's a multiverse. In Henry Stickmin.

The multiverse is used as a way to make every ending canon. I think no matter what ending we choose, both sides'll want Henry & Ellie on their side, cuz Henry can SAVE & RESET on a level even greater than Frisk & can even access alt universes if that's how we'd explain the HUB in Completing the Mission.

Alright, time for us to rule out more endings!

Pardoned Pals is out. This is because the Space Station never went into orbit in that ending. Triple Threat is out for similar reason.

Or not. I mean, it's very likely that Toy Bonnie is trusting Buzzfeed again, and as a result it's possible the whole orbit thing was clickbait. If that is the case, those two endings are still possible.

(Capital Gains is technically compatible with a launched Space Station Orbit, because we don't actually stop it from launching.. Though the Toppats will have a pretty hard time with all of their money gone.)

Also, I plan on having game mechanics be a lot more prevalent in the case of Henry Stickmin (that is, Henry actually will have choices between items that he just.. has. If he chooses wrong, I'll even make a FAIL.. possibly even with a message!)

Both sides should also expect random items and mechanics to happen way more often now that Henry's here.

Henry's backstory is integrating with the world right now. We're actually seeing, for the first time, a world integration as it's happening.

Considering that we have a reputable source about the Toppat Orbit.. We really are down to three endings.

Capital Gains.. Toppat Recruits.. and Toppat King.

If the good guys want a Henry, they're going to need to do a good job convincing him.. or get their own Henry.. which will probably cause enough chaos for the CCC to need to get involved.

Or hope that Capital Gains is the ending that's happened.

If they’re canonically the same animatronic, then yes. If they’re canonically different, probably not.

Also, looks like an Impostor sabotaged the O2.

One more thing. You might have noticed a few images showing pages of a book over on our old RP Wiki.

They’re meant to be canon. They’re all pages of the Book of Twilight. But with the change, I don’t think I’ll actually be able to use them.

As for those colored bars, the content underneath will be revealed when the animatronics solve the relevant mystery. And as the file names suggest, most of them simply involve how many keys were found. But there’s SEVEN colors and only FIVE keys.. so two of them must not be about keys..

It’s impossible right now for you to find out what BOTH of these other mysteries about.. but it’s possible to discover what the Cyan mystery is (not the SOLUTION to it, but at least what the Cyan mystery IS. And how the animatronics might go about solving it.)

If you wish, you can attempt to theorize over in the Theorization Board. Then we’ll see if you guessed right in a year or two. Or three.

I haven’t made ALL the pages yet, obviously. (Maybe when I do they can go in an imgur gallery or something? Not quite sure.) When I do, it should be possible to understand WHY the colored bars are there (but not what’s underneath them)

Addition to previous post:Well, the bit about filler text on the cover is just an Easter egg for the memes. Though who knows, Surreal Memes are canon, so perhaps so is the text that’s only there to say it’s filler text.
